Kevin and I spent the 4th of July week in Aptos for the annual family reunion/gathering. It was perfect weather and absolutely gorgeous and relaxing days. The Thurmond's joined us, as per usual, and a good time was had by all. Happy Independence Day. I hope you enjoyed celebrating our nation's birthday!

When the fireworks commenced, Maggie found a place in the back bedroom, under the bed. She stayed there for hours and could not be coaxed out for a couple hours.
Since the country began with an illegal declaration (you know, revolution), it seems only appropriate that we celebrate with illegal fireworks.

So glad you had a blast! If your little girl has half as much fun there as it looked like Maggie did then she is quite the lucky lady!
