My favorite things, continued
I like my bathroom. Actually, I REALLY like my bathroom. I love the light in there, the color scheme. Bright yellows and greens make me happy. It sounds kind of silly, I know. It's not like any significant part of my day is spent in there. But whenever I'm in there, I just enjoy how I've set it up. There are mementos of my travels, butterflies, and my make-up and girly stuff. It's a happy room, and I enjoy it.

I wish my bathroom was worth loving. Alas, it is not. However, I do have my living room put together and it's quite lovely... greens and a few blues, soft light from the tree out front, comfy green new-to-us couch. I like that room. And, oddly enough, the baby's room. His room is all blue/turquoise and ocean stuff. His is the only other room nicely completed and I love sitting in there. Plus it's always dark in the there and it's always quiet in there. Less fun to sit in there when I'm rocking him in the middle of the night... but still a peaceful room. You need to come see one of these days.
