Back in the day when I was going to school in Sacramento, I went to
Apple Hill, a collection of family-owned apple farms in the Placerville area. They sell their apples, apple cider, and baked goods. You can also pick your own apples at some of the farms. I love it. Kevin and I took Lily for a day trip and picked our apples, bought some apple cider (it was amazingly delicious), bought some pie, and just had a delightfully good time. I can't wait to go back.
