Amen to old houses, teachers, rudeness, and roommates.
I've been thinking a lot about things I used to believe were necessary or my right. Now I'm not so sure.
Amen, sistah! Except the Eureka thing. At least not for me. But I understand the sentiment. I feel that way about the Bay Area. (Mostly Dublin, Berkeley, Pleasant Hill, Morgan Hill... not so much Livermore ;-) )

I agree with you, although I would add that a few seconds of thought BEFORE speaking can save you hours of regret afterwards.
